Add a fragment getter/setter in Request class
  • URL fragment are found after an hashtag (#). Fragments are parsed when using built-in parse_url function.

    $fragment = $this->request->fragment();

    This feature is necessary, as fragment is not accessible from $request->uri() or $request->url().

  • I have realized that it is not sent to the server. However, when doing external requests or any request that might have a fragment, this would still be relevant. And also misleading.

  • # is not a URL supported character!

  • You'll have to handle it client side.

  • hastag are usually handled by javascript on client side. check angluar js for client side hashtag handling.
