Disallowed key characters in global data.
  • Well I just installed kohana to my website, and I passed all the requirements for installation. I already chmoded the files to their correct allocations, but I still get one error.

    "Disallowed key characters in global data."

    I have it installed to http://neverpool.com/kohana

    If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it :)
  • Ah, it works now. ;)
  • How did you solve this? I'm having the same trouble.
  • I also am having this problem.

    I am inheriting a site built in Kohana and just moved the files to my server, made some write permissions changes -- and now I am getting this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  • this error is kicked out from framework/system/libraries/Input.php

    the function is

        public function clean_input_keys($str)
        {
                $chars = PCRE_UNICODE_PROPERTIES ? '\pL' : 'a-zA-Z';

              if ( ! preg_match('#^['.$chars.'0-9:_.-]++$#uD', $str))
              {
                      exit('Disallowed key characters in global data.');
              }

                return $str;
        }

    I have my doubts about its veracity

    change it to

        public function clean_input_keys($str)
        {
                $chars = PCRE_UNICODE_PROPERTIES ? '\pL' : 'a-zA-Z';

    // if ( ! preg_match('#^['.$chars.'0-9:_.-]++$#uD', $str)) // { // exit('Disallowed key characters in global data.'); // }

                return $str;
        }

    then you can access your module
